My husband is an Aerospace Engineer (yes, a real rocket scientist!). It’s no surprise, then, that we are both into science, science fiction, and the science fiction pop culture (we especially like time travel stories). We are also interested in education, formal or otherwise. We embrace simple rules-of-thumb to help remember all kinds of concepts from science, art, literature, writing, and life in general. However, the primary reason we began this website is because of a personal, intimate knowledge of evil. Some people think that evil is some sort of religious concept or that it only applies to the great suffering perpetuated by the likes of Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, and now ISIS. But evil is not just ‘over there’ or ‘back then’ — evil dwells in your cities and businesses, your schools and neighborhoods ... maybe even your home.
We used the term ‘bully’ for this website, because deep down in these people is a deep-seated need to control others, which is the basis of all evil. However, good people are not completely at their mercy because evil is knowable, predictable, and preventable. It is our goal to provide the tools and resources to help deal with these toxic elements in your everyday life. These are on the Bullying Stuff page.
Not surprisingly, this website isn’t our only avenue of expression. I have begun writing books to fully explore evil and how to deal with it. I’ve also begun writing science fiction — starting with time travel! These can be found on the Books page. We have also begun marketing some of our material via Stonetree Entertainment. Finally, my husband likes politics. He’s an independent moderate centrist, but hates hypocrisy, inconsistency, inaccuracy, and out-right lies from the right, left, or center. See our Politics pages for some political cartoons and videos, but be forewarned: you might be offended.
